THE DISPATCHES

“How are you doing on your 2018 resolutions?”
Nobody usually likes that question right about now, myself included. In fact, it always makes cringe a little. One month in, everyone feels like they should be busy catching up with the promises they've made for rest of this year. It's like when you leave the movie theatre after watching a deep, moving film and within 30 seconds of being outside your friend goes “So what did you think?”
Well, I got nothing particularly fancy. Planning's done and work is underway. That said, January started and ended strong. It made me realize (yet again) that when you find something that adds value to your life, just plan and work to keep doing it.
This week’s piece touches on a self-imposed exercise that began as an act of faith, and ended in a new habit. That's all I got.
Stay human,
CEDRIC VICTOR
