THE DISPATCHES

The last two weeks were spent traveling. Dubai was hot, Berlin was damp, and both turned out to be exactly what the doctor ordered.
There's something nice about seeing family again, which is what the Dubai trip was all about. In short, it's was a treat to see friends I hadn't seen in 30 years—that was a different lifetime (literally). It was also life-affirming to confirm once more how I turned out the way I did, and how that serves me to this day.
Berlin is a beautiful city, and I was reminded again why I love so much of Europe: there is a wonderful pace to people and to the way business is done. Everyone is perennially polite, there's really a wonderful spirit to a city that seems to be very much in touch with itself, its history and its culture.
That said, I'm glad to be back in New York City, it's home in the end.
This new piece was started at the beginning of my travel and completed just a few hours ago. The Instagram feed has been getting good traction, I will be spending more time there so follow me/us there if you aren't already.
